Dogs get sore backs about as easily as people do. The problem is that when a dog can no longer walk it is considered a catastrophe. Sometimes the dog is even put to sleep. With a dog wheelchair, the fact that a dog can't use his back legs becomes no more than an inconvenience.

If you are considering a dog wheelchair, here's what to do:
1 - Learn about the Walkin' Wheels. Before Walkin' Wheels was released in August 2008, dog wheelchairs were all custom made. They required complex fitting, measurements, and days or weeks to build. This is the only dog cart that allows you to order next day, without complicated measurements, and adjust it to fit perfectly. Learn more here.
2 - Do you need a Specialty Cart? Front wheel carts for dogs with bad front legs, small carts for dogs under 20lbs or under 6" high, and quad cart for dogs with four weak legs are considered Specialty Carts. Not sure of your dogs front leg strength? Do the towel test. The Adjustable Walkin' Wheels won't work for these animals.See:

4 - Ready to Buy? Our Cart Wizard will ask a few simple question, including the approximate height of your dog from "Fold Of Flank" to the ground. The Wizard will select the correct size wheel and price the cart for you (from $399 to $499). Understand the RETURN POLICY.
